I think one of the important things that should be considered, especially at the time that we are now, is that it’s the new year. It’s a new beginning. It’s the start of a new process. And you may have approached this in many ways. You might have spent your New Year’s Eve partying. You may have spent it goal planning. You may have spent it performing rituals or attuning yourself to the year ahead.

“Magic begins when imagination stops asking for permission.”

“You don’t need to chase abundance—you need to become the frequency of it.”

Keys Insights and takeways
    1. Desire is separation. The emotional charge behind a desire often reveals where we believe we are lacking, not what we actually need.

    2. Redefining self creates reality. When you stop saying “I want money” and begin saying “I am money,” you collapse the separation and shift vibrational alignment.

    3. Emotion precedes manifestation. Emotional states are frequencies; therefore, embodying love, abundance, and power now causes them to manifest externally.

    4. Imagination is initiation. Your unconscious speaks in symbols, sensations, and subtle impressions—learn to trust and follow them without doubt.

    5. Ritual is neural reprogramming. Every magical act is a method to condition your nervous system into a new reality through emotion, repetition, and symbolic action.

    6. Purity is commitment to reality creation. The magician must choose whether to keep recreating the past or become the sole architect of the new.

    7. Spiritual power is vibrational alignment. Reality does not yield to worthiness—it yields to vibrational match through thought, feeling, and aligned action.

“Your emotional spectrum is the doorway to the astral plane.”

“Ritual is not for summoning gods; it’s for reprogramming the magician.”

There are a couple of core ideas that have become important to me that I’d like to share for your consideration as you venture into a very delicious 2024. One of the first is expectation in terms of association. Many of us look at our goals and dreams, and while they may be noble and good, the back of our mind may associate a lot of positivity or a sense of achievement with getting them.

And that’s great—you should have drive, you should have intrinsic motivation toward the world outside of you to accomplish specific things. After all, when there is no emotion, there’s no movement; there’s only death. But the problem arises when we define ourselves from that position: “Only when I have the home, the car, the lover, the X—then I’m good enough or powerful enough.”

What I’ve come to realize is that desire often arises from the perception of separation from that which is desired. That doesn’t mean don’t go after the car or the income—it means pause and reflect: when you get the car, the income, what state of being do you think that will bring you? Peace? Love? Worthiness? Connection? Whatever it is, it’s an emotional experience—an energy.

Money is energy. Success is energy. Sex, achievement—all of these are vibrations or energetic expressions that already exist within you. And to reach them, there are two ways. I call one the “bodybuilder complex.” Some hit the gym out of self-hate, and they soon run out of fuel or even harm themselves. Others love the process, and they have more emotional fuel to keep growing.

The emotional fuel is important—but what’s more important is loving the process instead of being defined by the outcome. That’s the key to unlocking new possibilities. It allows your mind to come up with solutions and strategies when you redefine self and reality such that the state of being you think you’ll get is already available to you.

Move from “I want money” to “I am money.” Move from “I want success” to “I am success.” Redefine your story so that abundance has always been with you. Even if you didn’t have the money, maybe you had knowledge. Or maybe you had social success if not physical success. You’ve had aspects or manifestations of the energy you desire in some form.

When you focus on those aspects, your reticular formation starts paying attention. It finds more evidence of that thing in your life—and then starts finding it outside of your life. You begin to see opportunities that have always been there but that you were hypnotized to ignore.

Reality is a quantum field of infinite potentials. There are billions of people and endless possibilities. New businesses, new clients, new lovers appear every day. Why do some access these opportunities while others shut them out? Spirituality tells us it’s a vibrational thing. It’s not about deserving—it’s about being a vibrational match.

But how do you become that match? Often we go do exercises instead of the simplest act of all: redefining self and world so you already see yourself as a match. That’s it.

The paradigm shift can take many forms—whether you interpret it spiritually or psychologically doesn’t matter. Whether you’re holding an orange or hallucinating one, your mouth still waters. What is most real to you becomes more real for you.

If you think the world is cruel, if you think you lack talent or resources, then that’s what you’ll see. You’ve hypnotized yourself into that reality. But you can discredit it. You can become aware of the power of negative thinking—not just positive thinking. Discredit old realities, let them collapse, and start noticing the presence of what you want as if it’s already here.

If you’ve longed for love but don’t see it in the outer world, recognize this: 99% of your body is empty space. And yet something holds it all together. Something greater than you—maybe pure love—is hugging your atoms into coherence. That’s love too.

If I imagine angelic forces around me, it doesn’t matter if it’s “real” or not. What matters is how it changes my emotion. My body reacts, my confidence grows, my behavior changes. That’s magic.

If you can’t do it day to day, that’s why we have ritual. Your temple, your sacred space—it’s where you forget who you hypnotized yourself to be. The concept of self is the vault key to the unconscious. Meditation, yoga, trance—they take you into altered states where time and space dissolve.

As the personal and collective unconscious rises, don’t get attached. Just observe. Stay calm. Move deeper. Eventually you reach a space pre-birth. There, you rearticulate the world through story.

It’s not just thought. Thought is air. It must descend into water—emotion—then fire—action. And only through repetition and conditioning can that thought become earth—your manifested reality.

You beat the old earth until it gives you water. You ritualize new states until your biochemistry changes. That’s when your vibration changes. That’s when new behavior emerges.

Your magic isn’t measured by spirits manifesting but by whether you act naturally from that new state.

If you’re not stepping into the life you want, inner blocks remain. Many use divination. But don’t just draw cards—map them to the Tree of Life. Close your eyes. Trust what arises.

Your imagination speaks in dreams, symbols, hallucinations. You may have discredited them before because they didn’t match the dramatic expectations you had from TV or books. But the unconscious speaks subtly: a twitch, a number, a phrase that won’t leave your mind.

When you start working with these, you awaken the communication between you and your inner divinity—your unique spark. This is source three. You align with your inner source and produce not the life you “should” live, but the one that is truly yours.

You let go of the false lives, of what others say you should be. You commit absolutely to the truth in your heart. The root of “desire” is “of the father.” Your wants are messages from your unconscious—prophecies of possibilities.

Celebrate them now. Feel the joy now.

Ask yourself how deeply you can feel the dream now, versus how deeply you feel your everyday pain. That contrast shows what you’ve conditioned most. To change it, you must remove the old vibration.

You’ve repeated thoughts, words, and decisions that have embodied a reality. You must abandon and discredit that. Find its existential purpose and raise your vision. Commit absolutely to your chosen version of self and reality.

People will say, “That’s not how life is,” but that’s a choice. You either commit to the old or the new. If not, you’ll swing between them, living fragmented moments, sabotaging your joy to return to suffering.

In occultism, we speak of purity—not abstinence, but focused will. Purity is making the unbridled commitment to your new reality. Be more devoted to where you’re going than where you’ve been.

Like Haraway said after trauma: he committed so much to his imagined world that it became real—and the old one became a dream.

Spirituality often teaches “you are God,” then in the next breath says you can’t control wealth or relationships. That contradiction kills inner power. You can’t say you’re a creator and then say you’re powerless.

To cast your new spell, you must think, speak, feel, and act as if it’s real. But also discredit the old. Negative thinking isn’t bad—it’s needed to dissolve outdated patterns.

Your emotions are doorways into the astral. What you believe and focus on shapes what dimensions you access. That’s the first ritual. Then your imagination takes flight and you commune with minds greater than your own.

That’s when you feel truly not alone. Connected. Alive. Flowing with the current of life. That’s when you awaken the kingdom within.

You stop casting spells of suffering and start casting spells of joy, connection, and possibility. You remember the world wants your beauty, your joy, your wisdom.
