Kelly Dawn – Awaken Your Inner Witch

Today I get to speak to an incredibly powerful woman, Mrs. Kelly Dawn from Awaken Your Inner Witch. Her podcast is always growing, and her insights are always profound. She talks to us today about the problem in the mindset most witches face.

“Your desire isn’t random—it’s divine instruction. It wouldn’t be in you if it wasn’t already available to you.”

“We don’t become witches—we realize we’ve always been witches, performing rituals unconsciously. Now, we do them with power.”

Keys Insights and takeways
  1. Your Weirdness Is Your Power: Many magical practitioners carry childhood wounds of exclusion, but the very qualities that once made you an outsider are now your most magnetic traits. Embracing your uniqueness isn’t just healing—it’s powerful branding.

  2. Authenticity Over Performance: Success comes from showing up as your full, unmasked self. The moment Kelly stopped trying to be a version of a coach she thought people wanted, her business transformed.

  3. Desire Is a Divine Compass: If you have a genuine desire, it’s because the opportunity for its fulfillment already exists. Your wants are clues, not illusions.

  4. Spiritual Bypassing Sabotages Growth: It’s easy to use ritual and spiritual practice to avoid real-world action. The key is in balancing the inner mystical with the outer practical.

  5. Your Environment Influences Your Evolution: Sometimes to grow, you must physically and energetically shift your surroundings. Not everyone is meant to come with you.

  6. Take Action as Your Future Self: Act in alignment with the version of you who already has the life you want. Embody their habits, beliefs, and energy now.

  7. Sexual Energy Is Creation Energy: Sex magic is not about sensationalism—it’s a sacred tool to align with divine energy and amplify your manifestations.

  8. Mindset Determines Magical Results: The depth of your belief about your power and practices is more important than the complexity of your rituals.

  9. You Are the Universe in Human Form: The ultimate truth Kelly returns to is that we are divine beings walking around in human suits. This remembrance collapses all limitations.

  10. Visualize and Ground Your Vision: Embody the future you want in small daily actions. Drink the smoothie. Wear the outfit. Take the walk. Bring the vision to earth.

“Authenticity is the most powerful spell you’ll ever cast. When you drop the mask, the world responds.”

“Your spiritual power is only as effective as your willingness to take aligned action in the physical.”

Most witches don’t take themselves seriously in a commercial sense, and it’s very easy for us in controlled environments, surrounded by similar minds, to understand our place. But we’ve commonly been the outsider when it comes to the more commercial endeavors. Kelly breaks those paradigms and helps us to set up new narratives by which we get to embrace the world and see that what was making us different for so long is actually what makes us unique in the long run.

Kelly is available for business coaching for witches, as well as general consulting. Her magical services and her professional services blend so beautifully together as this woman walks her talk. Listen as she helps us today to arrive at our inner voice and learn to express that while also navigating some of the worst mindsets and practices in magic—and how to avoid them.

Before proceeding, please acknowledge and accept our formal position. We do not accept the models proposed by various occult groups that portray angels or demons as abstract beings with agency or will of their own. Rather, we view them purely as representations of the practitioner’s individual psyche. We also regard the reasons for their changes over time and the similarities between cultures as evidence of a shared human unconscious, referred to by Jung as the collective unconscious.

This means it is not “the devil” that makes people do harmful things; people alone are responsible for their actions. When someone has an unhealthy relationship with these parts of the psyche, their experience can become distorted. They may require professional therapy and the guidance of a mental health professional; otherwise, they risk taking these powers of the unconscious to a dark place because those parts have been corrupted by misinformation, trauma, or both.

Our position is that each person is the ruler of their own kingdom/reality, and that spirit has no interest in human affairs and is not subject to an ego.

Accordingly, our interpretation of occult systems—from the Tree of Life and Tree of Death to the Goetia and Shem—is purely symbolic. We treat them through the IFS (Internal Family Systems) model as representational frameworks that illustrate splits within the human psyche, and we work with them in a manner similar to “duality therapy.”

Therefore, any person claiming that a spirit instructed them to do X or Y is expressing a cry for help and should be treated as such.

This is why this movement is clearly marked by the identifier “God Is Not Therapy.” We are not here to provide therapy, but to present a model of these forces and practices for the purpose of understanding, navigating, and working with one’s own unconscious. By proceeding, you acknowledge your responsibility to seek professional assistance if you are experiencing any of these issues before continuing with this work.
